Gods love in relation to… The Doctrine of Christ…
(1) Repentance…
Jesus last words to the Disciples before he rose up into heaven was…
Luk 24:45
Thus it stands written that the Messiah would suffer and would rise from the dead on the third day, and REPENTANCE for the forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
Repentance means…A change of heart.
Everyone follows their hearts…
either Consciously or Unconsciously
For example when you sit down you will pick a chair that you have learned from experience to value…
Also it must be in a position that is comfortable…in the right context…
While you sit in the chair you constantly update your position from uncomfortable to comfortable… this is the way of LOVE
The principles of love never change only the values and context differ from person to person.
Principal 1
Love is an emotional feeling of happiness peace and joy
Principal 2
Without support there is no love…
Support from…. People you value
Objects you value
Actions and events you value
Principal 3
People, objects and events you value must be in the right context.
There are only two primary contexts…
Gods love…. as Family
Mammon…. which is personal gain.
Jesus taught…
Mat 6:24: “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon (personal gain).”
The repentance Jesus talked about was a change of heart from personal gain…
to Gods love…family gain.
To be In Christ is to flow in Gods love… Gods values… in Gods context.
Personal gain is to flow in your values and your context.
The ultimate goal in life is happiness peace and joy and that can only be found in Gods love…
The people objects and actions God values.
People… Family
Objects… Creation
Events and actions…
In Exod 34:6 God tells Moses what events and actions he values…
Compassion
Mercy
Slowness to anger
Loving kindness
Truth
Forgiveness
Justice
God is not a dictator because you are given free choice… up to a point.
Humanity will not be allowed to exploit people and Gods creation forever… remember one of Gods values is Justice.
A time is coming where, because of mans rejection… God will remove those in Christ from the earth and those left behind will have to fend for themselves without Gods love and protection.
True lasting happiness peace and joy can only be experienced by inviting Gods love into your heart… by learning Gods values and flowing with them.
Mammon flows from the outside in but Gods love flows from the inside out…and only you hold the key to your heat.
Jesus said…Rev 3:20-21: “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will fellowship with him, and he with me.
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.”
If you want Gods love to enter your heart and become an overcomer then pray these words Jesus taught us…. (not parrot fashion but from your heart…it’s important so take your time…take Jesus words from your head to your heart)
Our Father….
The source of all we love..
Who’s love is present in all that is around us…
I stop…. and become aware of You
Your kingdom of love, happiness peace and joy flow within me…
Your will… flow in our lives on earth as it does in Heaven
Supply us today your loving bread of life…
forgive us our wicked lawlessness,
just as we forgive the wicked lawlessness of those around us.
Lead us away from the carnality of personal gain that flows from the flesh…
deliver us from evil…physical sickness, emotional sickness and spiritual sickness
For Father you have always been and will always be the strength that is LOVE…. the power and glory for eternity….
Amen.
If you prayed from the heart you will now be feeling Gods love in your heart.
Identify it… become conscious of Gods love within you… Don’t take this love for granted… take time…
because this is the beginning of your personal journey into Christ.
Savour this moment…
return to it as often as you can… don’t get distracted…
because the BEST is yet to come…
